toonPie (“the App”) is developed and provided by Young‑Suk Soul (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information you may provide while using the App.

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or share personally identifiable information.
• Image Data: Images you open are processed locally on your device. No image files leave your device unless you actively export or share them.
• Extracted Text: When you invoke translation, only the text extracted from the selected image is sent—via an encrypted HTTPS connection—to the translation provider you choose (Google Cloud Translation or Naver Cloud Papago or OpenAI). No additional identifiers are included.

2. How We Use Information

The extracted text is used solely to return a translated result to you. We do not create user profiles or serve advertising.

3. Data Storage & Retention

All images and translations remain on your device unless you deliberately save or share them. We do not keep server logs containing personal data.

4. In‑App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App offers an auto‑renewable subscription that funds the per‑character fees charged by translation APIs. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple and never pass through our servers. We receive anonymous confirmation of purchase status only.

5. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, requests to access, correct, or delete personal data are generally not applicable. If you believe we hold any personal information about you, please contact us and we will assist promptly.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child provided personal data, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. We will post the new policy within the App and update the “Effective date” above.
